A Great Article on Building RSS into Your Marketing Plan ...

If you are considering stepping into the world of RSS, "Unleash the Marketing & Publishing Power of RSS" author Rok Hrastnik has written a great, seven-step article for MarketingProfs: http://www.marketingprofs.com/5/hrastnik1.asp?f=evrl.

One of the steps I recommend most highly, yet consistently see marketers avoiding, is step number one: start using RSS yourself. It couldn't be easier, and it will give you a much better idea of how this new technology works.

who is doing a good job of "personalized marketing" via rss today? I use it widely for content and information, but have not seen a good use by marketers yet.

Joe,

To the best of my knowledge, "personalized RSS marketing" is impossible without an IRSS solution. There are very few solutions in this space and ours is new enough not have any cutting edge deployments yet.
