A Report on the DMA B-to-B Conference
My colleague, Elaine O'Gorman went down to Tucson last week for the Direct Marketing Association's B-to-B Marketing Conference. The conference focuses exclusively on business-to-business marketing and sales strategies, tactics, best practices and trends in the industry. Elaine said sessions that seemed to get folks talking most were about integrating strategies and tactics that sometimes seem at war with each other, i.e., sales vs. marketing, and brand vs. response.
Elaine's own presentation on improving B-to-B email deliverability packed the house, and garnered a great many accolades of its own. For some great notes on her talk, check out Jeremy Porter's B-to-B blog. He sums up her session quite nicely.
